A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE 2021 GO -4
REFUSE HAULERS FROM JEFFREY ALLEN, INC. PURSUANT TO PRICING
ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE
PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND VILLAGE CLERK TO TRANSFER $173,148 FROM THE CAPITAL
RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE SANITATION — AUTOMOTIVE CAPITAL
ACCOUNT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is requesting approval of the purchase of GO -4 Refuse
Haulers utilizing CIP funds; and
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended the purchase of five (5) 2021 GO -4 Refuse Haulers
manufactured by Westward Industries, LTD from Jeffrey Allen, Inc. pursuant to pricing established
in an existing Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (Contract No. 122220 -WWI); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend the current capital projects fund budget to transfer
$173,148.00 from the Capital Reserve Account to the Sanitation — Automotive Capital Account to
fund the purchase of the equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of five (5) 2021 GO -4 Refuse
Haulers manufactured by Westward Industries, LTD from Jeffrey Allen, Inc. pursuant to pricing
established in an existing Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (Contract No. 122220 -
WWI) at a total cost of $173,147.50, with funds expended from Account No. K7020-66410
(Sanitation — Automotive).
Section 3. In order to fund this expenditure, the Village Council hereby approves a budget
amendment for the transfer of funds as indicated below and authorizes and directs the Mayor and
Village Clerk to execute the budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach:

Section 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby
