A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING
REPEAL OF RESOLUTION N0. R-90-1763
ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, WHICH
ABANDONED AN ENTIRE ROADWAY KNOWN AS
GARDEN LANE SITUATED IN SECTION 8,
TOWNSHIP 42 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST, PALM
BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SUPPORTING
THE ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION BY THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PALM
BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, ABANDONING A
SPECIFIED PORTION OF THE SAID ROADWAY
KNOWN AS GARDEN LANE; AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE_.VLLiAGE CLERK TO FORWARD A
CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS;
AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
HEREOF.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Palm
Beach County, Florida, adopted Resolution No. R-90-1763 on
October 16, 1990, which abandoned an entire roadway known as
Garden Lane situated in Section 8, Township 42 South, Range
43 East; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach is in opposition to the abandonment of the entire
roadway known as Garden Lane but supports the adoption of a
Resolution by the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach
County, Florida, abandoning a specified portion of the said
roadway known as Garden Lane as more particularly described in
this Resolution.
' BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of

North Palm Beach, Florida, opposes and requests repeal of
Resolution No. R-90-1763 adopted by the Board of County
Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, on October 16,
1990, which abandoned an entire roadway known as Garden Lane
situated in Section 8, Township 42 South, Range 43 East,
Palm Beach County, Florida.
Section 2. The Village Council of the Village of
North Palm Beach, Florida, supports the adoption of a Resolution
by the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County,
Florida, abandoning that certain portion of the said roadway
' known as Garden Lane situated in Section 8, Township 42 South,
Range 43 East, and more particularly described as follows:
The North 20.00 feet of the West one-half
of the Northwest one-quarter of the South-
east one-quarter of the Northeast one-
quarter of Section 8, Township 42 South,
Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida;
Together with the North 20.00 feet of the
East 267.95 feet of the East one-half of
the Northeast one-quarter of the Southwest
one-quarter of the Northeast one-quarter
of said Section 8.
Containing in all 0.277 acres more or less.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution
to the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County,
' Florida.

Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
