A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THS MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO SNTSR INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT ATTACHED AS
EXHIBIT "A" FOR THS PURPOSE OF SECURING MATCHING FUNDS FOR A
SHORELINE RESTORATION PROJECT IN LAKESIDE PARK LOCATED WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THS VILLAGE; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
wHERBAS, the Village Council of the Village of North Palm
Beach adopted Resolution 1i-90, dated May i, 1990, requesting a
Fifty Percent (50$) matchlnq grant from the Florida Inland
Navigation District for a shoreline restoration project in Lakeside
Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Village Council is desirous of going forward with
the project of restoring the shoreline at Lakeside Park and
securing matching funds from the Florida Inland Navigation
District.
BS IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village council of the Village of North
' Palm Beach does hereby approve the Agreement with Florida Inland
Navigation District attached as 8xhibit "A", which Agreement is for
the purpose of securing matching funds for a shoreline restoration
project in Lakeside Park located within the corporate limits of the
Village.
Section 2. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the Agreement with Florida
inland Navigation District set forth in Exhibit "A" for and on
behalf of the village of North Palm Beach.
section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon ite adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 25th DAY OF APRIL 1991.
