Judy Pierman, division
vice president for program,
was elected the first woman
mayor of North Palm Beach
in March. She previously
served as vice mayor.
Pierman has been active
in the North Palm Beach
Branch for 15 years. She
has served as cultural
interests chair, program vice
president and president.
In addition, she teaches
language arts to second,
third and fourth graders and
Greek and Latin to sixth
graders in a private school.

band have three children.
Their daughter is in gradu-
ate school at Ohio State
University. A son is a
sophomore at Wake Forest
College in North Carolina,
and their 11-year-old son
resides at home. Pierman
and her husband serve on
the advisory board of Wake
Forest.
