A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALtQ BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR, VILLAGE CLERK AND VILLAGE
ATTORNEY TO ENTER INTO A STIPULATED SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH
THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS ATTACHED AS EXHI-
' BIT "A" FOR THE PURPOSE OF BRINGING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF
THE VILLAGE IN COMPLIANCE WITH STATE LAW; AND, PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WFIEREAS, the Village of North Palm Beach adopted its
Comprehensive Plan on November 9, 1989, under Ordinance No.
23-89; and
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Community Affairs
issued a written Statement of Intent to find the Comprehensive
Plan of the Village of North Palm Beach not in compliance with
state law on January 4, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Village filed a written response to the
Notice of Intent of the Department of Community Affairs and the
Village and Department of Community Affairs are desirous of
' entering into a Stipulated Settlement Agreement for the purpose
of bringing the Comprehensive Plan of the Village into compliance
with state law.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach does hereby approve the Stipulated Settlement Agree-
ment with the Florida Department of Community Affairs attached
as Exhibit "A", which Agreement is for the purpose of bringing
the Comprehensive Plan of the Village into compliance with
state law.
Section 2. The Mayor, Village Clerk and Village Attorney
' are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Stipulated
Settlement Agreement set forth in Exhibit "A" for and on behalf
of the Village.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immedi-

ately upon its adoption.
