A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A WHIRL -A-
ROUND FOR THE ANCHORAGE PARK PLAYGROUND FROM PLAYMORE
WEST, INC. D/B/A PLAYMORE RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS & SERVICES
UTILIZING PRICING SET FORTH IN AN EXISTING SCHOOL DISTRICT OF
MANATEE COUNTY CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended the purchase of a Whirl -a -Round for the Anchorage Park
playground from Playmore West, Inc. d/b/a Playmore Recreational Products & Services utilizing
pricing set forth in an existing School District of Manatee County Contract for Park and Playground
Equipment (Contract No. 21 -0053 -MR); and
WHEREAS, because the total amount paid to Playmore will exceed $25,000 for the current fiscal
year, Village Council approval is required; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of a Whirl -a -Round for the
Anchorage Park playground from Playmore West, Inc. d/b/a Playmore Recreational Products &
Services utilizing pricing set forth in an existing School District of Manatee County Contract for Park
and Playground Equipment (Contract No. 21 -0053 -MR) at a total cost of $9,468.35, with funds
expended from Account No. A8028-66422 (Recreation — Playground & Outside Equipment).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
