A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE 2020 FORD
INTERCEPTOR MARKED HYBRID UTILITY VEHICLE FROM BARTOW
FORD PURSUANT TO PRICING ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING
CHARLOTTE COUNTY CONTRACT AND THE PURCHASE OF REQUIRED
EQUIPMENT FROM DANA SAFETY SUPPLY PURSUANT TO PRICING
ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING CITY OF MIAMI CONTRACT; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended the purchase of one 2020 marked Ford Interceptor Hybrid
Utility Vehicle from Bartow Ford pursuant to an existing Charlotte County Contract (No. 18-508
Vehicles — Annual Contract) and the purchase of the lighting package and related equipment from
Dana Safety Supply pursuant to an existing City of Miami Contract (Bid No. 516388 Purchase and/or
Installation of Municipal Vehicle Equipment Citywide); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of one 2020 marked Ford
Interceptor Hybrid Utility Vehicle from Bartow Ford pursuant to pricing established in an existing
Charlotte County Contract (No. 18-508 Vehicles — Annual Contract) and the purchase of the lighting
package and related equipment from Dana Safety Supply pursuant to pricing established in an existing
City of Miami Contract (Bid No. 516388 Purchase and/or Installation of Municipal Vehicle
Equipment Citywide). The total amount expended for this vehicle shall not exceed $51,666.30, with
funds expended from Account No. A5711-66410 (Police — Automotive).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
