A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, SUPPORTING AND ENDORSING A SILL REQUIRING THS DSPARTMBNT
OF TRANSPORTATION TO ADOPT RULES PROVIDING MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR
' EMPLOYMENT OF OPERATORS OF DRAWBRIDGES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
section i. The Village Council of North Palm Beach,
Florida, hereby supports and endorses a bill requiring the
Department of Transportation to adopt rules providing minimum
standards for employment of operators of drawbridges, specifying
purpose and scope of such rules, and providing an effective date.
Section 2. The Village Clerk 1s hereby directed to send
copies of this Resolution to the Board of Palm Beach county
Commissioners and the Palm Beach County Legislative Delegation.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
