A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE ODUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FIARIUA, AI7JISING
GOVERNOR MARTINEZ AND THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA
OF TFIE DEPLORABLE, INCOMPLETE AND DANGEROUS CONDITION OF THE RQAD RIGHT-0F-

PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY TFIE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORM PALM BEACH, FIARIDA:
Section 1. The rightrof-way adjacent to U. S. Highway #1, from the
Parker Bridge, north to PGA Boulevard, within the Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida, is in a deplorable, incomplete and dangerous condition. Due to the
construction by the State of Florida and its respective contractors, the
right-of-way is incomplete in that it lacks curbing, safety striping and
landscaping. Further, said right-of-way is unsightly due to loose gravel and
rubble left thereon by the State contractors. This condition has existed for at
least six (6) months without any remedy being attempted by either the State of
' Florida or its road contractors.
Section 2. The conditions, as described above, present a safety
hazard and an unsightly condition and should be immediately remedied by the
State of Florida and/or its contractors.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is directed to send a copy of the
Resolution to Governor Martinez, the Department of Transportation of the State
of Florida, Members of the Florida Cabinet and the Palm Beach County Legislative
Delegation.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 28th DAY OF JANUARY, 1988.
