1988-17 Bid Award for Packer Truck
RESOLUTION N0.17-88 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, 1 FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE BID OF AL PACKER FORD FOR ONE FORD F-800 CAB AND CHASSIS AND ONE PEABODY GALIAN PACKER BODY, MODEL C200D, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $44,675, WITH TRADE-IN, FROM ACCOUNT NO. 10-534-033-66410 (AUTOMOTIVE). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid of Al Packer Ford, copy of which is attached to this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach in accordance with its terms. The appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of this acceptance. The monies are to be expended from Account No. 10-534-033-66410 (Automotive). Section 2. The Village cur- rently has 3 of these packer bodies and has experienced diffi- culty obtaining parts frian the manufacturer in Texas. The parts supply in Florida is virtually non-existent. Two packer blades have been replaced under warranty with the subsequent loss of extended time during replacenent. 2.
