A RESOI.ITi'ION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLARIDA,
' CONFORMING RESOLUTION NO. 31-87, CORRECTING A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR IN THE MILEAGE.
WHEREAS, the Village Council adopted Resolution No. 31-87, levying a
tax on real and personal property located within the corporate limits of the
Village of North Palm Beach on January. 1, 1987, fixing .the total valuation
thereon and the tax millage rate thereon for said tax years and
WHEREAS, the Village Council discovered a typographical error in the
millage rate set forth in Resolution No. 31-87t and
WHEREAS, the intended and correct'millage rate is set forth in Exhibit
A to Resolution No. 31-87t and
WHEREAS, the Village Council desires to reforn Resolution No. 31-87,
correcting said typographical errors
NC7W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGB COUNCIL OF NORTH PAild
' BEACH FLORIDA:
Section 1. 'Sections 2 and 3 of Resolution 31-87 are hereby reformed
as follows:
"Section 2. For the tax year ending December 31, 1987, a tax of
3.67 mills on one thousand dollars shall be and is hereby levied, and
shall be collected on all real and personal property within the
Village of North Palm Beath, not specifically designated as homestead
property or owned by the Municipality and/or expressly exempted by
the haws and Constitution of Florida, for the purpose of raising
funds for the improvement and government of the Village, and for the
payment of its obligations and expenses and for the purpose of
carrying out the purpose and duties granted and imposed by its
charter: which is a tax of 3.67 mills that shall be and is
hereby levied and shall be collected on all real and personal
property as set forth in above Section 1, less Homestead, Widows',
Disability and other exemptions for the purpose of raising funds for
the payment of the Village of North Palm Beach General Fund
Appropriations, which include the debt retirement.
Section 3. A statement of calculations for the tax levy of 3.67 mills
' for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1988 is set forth on Exhibit
A which is attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof."
