A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING RESOLUTION 2020-16 TO REMOVE
VEHICLE 223 AND VEHICLE 224 FROM THE LIST OF VEHICLES TO BE
SURPLUSED AND TO REASSIGN THE VEHICLES TO THE PUBLIC WORKS AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2020-16 on February 13, 2020, the Village Council
approved the lease of five new vehicles and the surplus of five existing vehicles, including Vehicle 223
and Vehicle 224, both 2013 Ford Taurus vehicles; and
WHEREAS, Village Staff has requested that Vehicles 223 and 224 be removed from the list of vehicles
to be surplused and Vehicle 223 be reassigned to the Public Works Department as a pool vehicle for
Village business and Vehicle 224 be reassigned to the Community Development Department for use by
the Building Inspector; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby amends Resolution No. 2020-16 to remove the following
vehicles from the list of vehicles to be surplused:
Unit 223 — Ford Taurus (VIN 1FAHP2MT2DG204834)
Unit 224 — Ford Taurus (VIN I FAHP2MT2DG204 8 3 5)
In lieu of disposal, the vehicles will be reassigned to the Public Works Department and Community
Development Department, respectively.
Section 3. All other parts of Resolution No. 2020-16, to the extent not expressly modified herein,
shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
