A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE LEASE OF THREE NEW POLICE
DEPARTMENT VEHICLES ACQUIRED FROM BARTOW FORD CO. PURSUANT
TO PRICING ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING CHARLOTTE COUNTY
CONTRACT AND EQUIPPED BY DANA SAFETY SUPPLY PURSUANT TO AN
EXISTING CITY OF MIAMI CONTRACT; APPROVING A FIVE-YEAR LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH PINNACLE PUBLIC FINANCE, INC.; TRANSFERRING TWO
EXISTING VEHICLES TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
AND THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; DECLARING THREE EXISTING
VEHICLES AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended the lease of three new vehicles for the Police Department (2021
unmarked Ford Explorer, 2021 Fort Interceptor Utility (Eco) and 2021 Ford Interceptor Utility (V6))
through Pinnacle Public Finance, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the vehicles will be acquired from Bartow Ford Co. utilizing pricing established in an existing
Charlotte County Contract (Contract No. 18-509 Vehicles — Annual Contract) and will be equipped by
Dana Safety Supply pursuant to pricing established in an existing City of Miami Contract (Bid/Contract
No. 516338 — Purchase and/or installation of Municipal Vehicle Equipment); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests of
the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the acquisition of the following vehicles for the
Police Department from Bartow Ford Co. utilizing pricing established in an existing Charlotte County
Contract and outfitted by Dana Safety Supply utilizing pricing established in an existing City of Miami
Contract and the leasing of such vehicles for a five-year term through Pinnacle Public Finance, Inc.:

Section 3. The total cost over the term of the lease shall be $145,240.15 (quarterly payments of
$7,262.01 for five years), with funds expended from Account No. A8535-49158 (Debt Service — Vehicle
Lease). The Village Council further authorizes the Village Manager to execute an Amendment to the
Master Lease Agreement (Schedule of Property No. 4) with Pinnacle Public Finance, Inc. and any other
documentation required to complete the transaction, subject to review by the Village Attorney for form
and legal sufficiency.

Section 4. Upon delivery, acceptance and placement into service of the three new vehicles, the
Village Council authorizes the transfer of Vehicle 381 (2015 Ford Taurus) to the Community
Development Department and the transfer of Vehicle 374 (2014 Ford Taurus) to the Public Works
Department.
Section 5. Upon delivery, acceptance and placement into service of the three new vehicles, the
Village Council declares the following vehicles as surplus property and authorizes their disposal in
accordance with Village policies and procedures:

Section 6. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
Section 7. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
