i_ A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL BLANKET
PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WITH
MULLINAX FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,200 FOR VEHICLE PARTS,
SUPPLIES AND REPAIR SERVICES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Policies and Procedures authorize the use of blanket purchase
orders for materials purchased over a certain period of time not to exceed a single fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, blanket purchase orders in excess of $25,000 require approval by the Village Council
on the consent agenda; and
WHEREAS, Village Staff is recommending approval of an additional blanket purchase order for
vehicle parts, supplies and repair services utilized by the Public Works Department to Mullinax Ford
in the amount of $6,200 (bringing the total amount to $30,000 for the current fiscal year); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the issuance of an additional blanket purchase
order to Mullinax Ford in the amount of $6,200.00 (for a total expenditure of $30,000 for Fiscal Year 2020),
with funds expended from Account No. A5522-32518 (Public Works — Auto Parts & Supplies).
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
