Anniversary committee chairwoman Peggy Enders says the time capsule is being designed by Steve Yeches, the architect of the building. The facility, which will have a stage with seats for 800 and W.-ilities for basketball, is being built with a $600,000 donation from George Delacorte, publisher of Dell books and a part-time resident of North Palm Beach. The building will be named after his wife, Valerie Delacorte, and the Village has agreed to Delacorte's request that no fee evQr be charged the public for its use. The time capsule is being built by Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, and will be hermetically sealed when it is filled. Among other things, Enders says the capsule will contain copies of this year's Village budget, of several local newspapers, of the history of North Palm Beach, and a number of black and white photographs of the Village. At the final meeting of the North Palm Beach Anniversary Committee this week, a final determination of the time capsule's contents will be made. The capsule will be officially dedicated and buried when the Delacorte building is finished and is scheduled to be opened in 25 years, in 2006.
