A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF
MISS LORI RUBENSTEIN, SERGEANT, EXPLORER POST 911,
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH.
WHEREAS, Explorer Post 911, sponsored by the Department of
Public Safety is a Law Enforcement oriented organization dedicated to
the development of young people and to the enhancement of higher stan-
Bards of conduct, respect for, and assistance to the law enforcement
community, and
WHEREAS, members of Explorer Post 911 are totally involved in
the law enforcement effort and contibute thousands of hours of volunteer
assistance to the benefit of all of the residents of the Village of North
Palm Beach and to residents of the neighboring areas, and
WHEREAS, Explorer Post 911 is a member of the Florida Association
of Police Explorers comprised of forty-four Explorer Groups with approxi-
mately two-thousand members, and
WHEREAS, Miss Lori Rubenstein, Sergeant, Explorer Post 911, has on
May 7, 1983 been elected President of the Florida Association of Police
Explorers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE'IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I
The Mayor and Village Council of North Palm Beach take great
pleasure in the acknowledgement of this most noteworthy accomplishment of
Miss Lori Rubenstein's election to the presidency of the Florida Association
of Police Explorers.
SECTION II
This Resolution is to take effect immediately upon passage.
