From developer's office to village hall
This 1961 picture of the North Palm Beach Village Hall shows it in its
original configuration. It was designed in the mid -50s by the late John Volk,
a noted Palm Beach architect, as the developer's sales office for the
village, which was incorporated in 1956. Two wings were added to the
building in 1968. A $900,000 renovation that will rearrange offices and
put in new meeting areas is set to start later this year and be completed
by next summer.
