1982-33 Urging FDOT to Plan, Implement & Complete Certain Road Project within and Outside the Village of NPBRESOLUTION N0. 33-82 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, URGING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO PLAN, IMPLEMENT, AND COMPLETE CERTAIN ROAD PROJECTS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, The Village Council and staff of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida have a long and successful record of cooperating to accomplish roadway projects which benefit the general safety of the motoring public as well as provide access to the community for emergency vehicles; and WHEREAS, The Village Council and staff have identified the need to improve certain facilities and roadways under the jurisdiction of the Florida Department of Transportation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Florida Department of Transportation is hereby urged to plan, implement and complete the following projects as soon as possible: (a) Six (6) lane bridge over North Lake on Northlake Boulevard. (b) Urbanization of State Road 5 (U.S. Highway 1) from Parker Bridge north to PGA Boulevard. (c) The following projects listed in the 1983-1987 Transpor- tation Improvement Program published by the Metropolitan Planning Organi- zation of Palm Beach County: (1) Project 418052 - Alternate A-1-A Project 418182 - Alternate A-1-A Add two (2) lanes and reconstruct two (2) lanes from Nurt}~lake Boulevard to Florida Boulevard.
