FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGF. CLERK TO TERMINATE
CONTRACTS WITH AETNA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, ALSO KN041N AS AETNA
LIFE & CASUALTY, FOR TOTAL CONTRACT DISCONTINUANCF. FOR ALL PERSONS
4IH0 ARE MEMBERS OF RETIREMENT SYSTEM BENEFITS OF GROUP ANNUITY
' CONTRACT N0. GA-2368, ACCOUNT 1, FIREMEN & ACCOUNT 2, POLICE,
AND GROUP ANNUITY CONTRACT N0. GA-2471, ACCOUNT 1, REGULAR &
ACCOUNT 2, COUNTRY CLUB, OF THF. VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Mayor and Village Clerk be, and they
are hereby, authorized and directed to terminate contracts with
AETNA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, also known as AETNA LIFE & CASUALTY,
for total contract discontinuance for all persons who are members
of retirement system benefits of Group Annuity Contract No.
GA-2368, Account 1, Firemen & Account 2, Police, and Group Annuity
Contract GA-2471, Account 1, Regular b Account 2, Country Club,
issued by Aetna Life Insurance Company to the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida.
Section 2. The Village Council of North Palm Beach,
acting as the Board of Trustees, requests a transfer of all funds
to said acting Board; that said funds are to be held in trust by
the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 11TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1980.
