1979-43 Approving Areawide Housing Opportunity Plan for PBCRESOLUTION N0. 43-79
A RESOLUTION OF THE VTTSA(:F COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING THE AREAWIDE MUSING OPPORTUNITY PLAN FOR PALM BEACH COUNTY.
WHEREAS, The Village of North Palm Beach recognizes that the
provision of adequate housing to all segments of the population is an
issue which transcends local political boundaries and needs to be addressed
on an areawide basis; and
WHEREAS, The Area Planning Board of Palm Beach County has
prepared, pursuant to United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) regulations, an Areawide Housing Opportunity Plan (AHOP)
for Palm Beach County to address this issue; and
WHEREAS, The Village of North Palm Beach desires to participate
in the AHOP for Palm Beach Cotmty.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID BY THE VIIdAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village of North Palm Beach endorses the AHOP
for Palm Beach County and supports its stated objectives and implecmentation
activities.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
