A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE COUNTRY CLUB POOL FROM
LINCOLN AQUATICS PURSUANT TO PRICING ESTABLISHED IN AN
EXISTING PALM BEACH COUNTY CONTRACT AND THE
INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT BY FAMILY POOLS, INC.; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff is requesting the purchase of pool equipment from Lincoln Aquatics
utilizing pricing established in an existing Palm Beach County Contract (Contract No. CMA
68016006 — Playground/Park & Waterpark Equipment/Parts) and the installation of the
equipment by Family Pools, Inc., the Village's current contractor for the Pool Pump Room and
Pool Resurfacing Projects; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution, including the
waiver of any conflicting purchasing policies and procedures (including the date of the Palm
Beach County Contract), is in the best interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of pool equipment from
Lincoln Aquatics for the North Palm Beach Country Club pool at a cost of $71,443.02 utilizing
pricing established in an existing Palm Beach County Contract (Contract No. CMA 68016006 —
Playground/Park & Waterpark Equipment/Parts) and the installation of equipment by Family
Pools, Inc. at a cost of $6,900 (for a total cost of $78,343.02), with funds expended from Account
No. K7600-66210 (Country Club Clubhouse Project — Construction and Major Renovation).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
