A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING A PAYMENT TO PRECISION
LANDSCAPE COMPANY OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, INC. FOR REMOVAL OF
TEMPORARY FACILITIES AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB,-
WAIVING
LUB;WAIVING THE VILLAGE'S PURCHASING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, in order to keep the Country Club Clubhouse project moving in a timely manner, the Village
retained the services of its landscape maintenance contractor, Precision Landscaping of Palm Beach
County, Inc. ("Precision") to remove temporary decking, awnings and concrete at the North Palm Beach
Country Club; and
WHEREAS, due to time constraints and other factors, the Village authorized Precision to complete the
work at a total cost of $18,730 without adhering to the Village's purchasing policies and procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests of
the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves a payment to Precision Landscape Company of
Palm Beach County, Inc. for work performed at the North Palm Beach Country Club in the amount of
$18,730, with funds expended from Account No. K7600-66210 (Country Club Clubhouse Project -
Construction and Major Renovation).
Section 3. The Village Council hereby waives the Village's purchasing policies and procedures,
which generally require three written quotes for purchases between $2,500 and $25,000.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
