A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 2018-
93 WHICH APPROVED A PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR A FLORIDA
INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT GRANT AND APPROPRIATED FUNDS
FOR THE GRANT MATCH AND AN ASSOCIATED ENGINEERING
STUDY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2018-93 on October 25, 2018, the Village
Council approved a Project Agreement with the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) for
the receipt of $300,000 in grant funds for the Anchorage Park Phase Two Project and
appropriated $100,000 for the required grant match and an additional $10,000 for an engineering
study associated with the project; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to repeal Resolution No. 2018-93 and the associated
appropriation of funds; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby repeals Resolution No. 2018-93 in its entirety,
including a reversal of the appropriation of $110,000 from the Capital Projects Fund ($100,00 for
the required FIND match and $10,000 for an associated engineering study).
Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect retroactive to September 30, 2019.
