A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
A SYNTHETIC TURF PUTTING GREEN ADJACENT TO THE COUNTRY
CLUB CLUBHOUSE FROM SYNTHETIC TURF OF FLORIDA, INC.; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff solicited written quotes for the purchase of labor and materials for the
installation of a synthetic turf putting green adjacent to the outdoor seating area at the new
Country Club Clubhouse; and
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended accepting the lowest cost proposal submitted by
Synthetic Turf of Florida, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of purchase of labor and
materials for the installation of a synthetic turf putting green adjacent to the outdoor seating area
at the new Country Club Clubhouse from Synthetic Turf of Florida, Inc. in accordance with its
proposal dated August 26, 2019 and accompanying plan at a total cost not to exceed $15,447.25,
with funds expended from Account No. K7600-66210 (Clubhouse Project — Construction and
Major Renovation).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
