A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OFFICE AND MEETING ROOM FURNITURE FOR THE
COUNTRY CLUB CLUBHOUSE FROM BERWIN, INC. D/B/A J.C. WHITE
OFFICE FURNITURE PURSUANT TO PRICING ESTABLISHED BY STATE
CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff is requesting the purchase of HON office and meeting room furniture
for the new Country Club clubhouse from Berwin, Inc. d/b/a J.C. White Office Furniture
pursuant to pricing established in State of Florida Term Contract No. 425-001-12-1 (Office
Furniture and Files); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution, including the
waiver of the purchasing policies and procedures applicable to the effective date of the state
contract, is in the best interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of office and meeting room
furniture for the new Country Club clubhouse from Berwin, Inc. d/b/a J.C. White Office
Furniture pursuant to pricing established in State of Florida Term Contract No. 425-001-12-1
(Office Furniture and Files). The total amount expended for this purchase shall not exceed
$28,300, with funds expended from Account No. K7600-66210 (Clubhouse Project —
Construction and Major Renovation).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
