A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING A BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WITH MELROSE IRRIGATION
SUPPLY AND SALES IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $15,000 FOR
IRRIGATION SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Policies and Procedures authorize the use of blanket purchase
orders for materials purchased over a certain period of time not to exceed a single fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, blanket purchase orders in excess of $10,000 require approval by the Village Council;
and
WHEREAS, Village Staff is recommending approval of a blanket purchase order for irrigation
supplies and materials utilized by the Public Works Department to Melrose Irrigation Supply and
Sales in the total amount of $15,000; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution, including the
waiver of any purchasing policies applicable to the purchases made pursuant to the blanket purchase
order, is in the best interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the issuance of a blanket purchase order to
Melrose Irrigation Supply and Sales in the total amount of $15,000.00, with funds expended from
Account No. A7321-34640 (Public Works — Repair and Maintenance of Irrigation Systems).
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
