A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE CONTRACT FOR LANDSCAPING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
SERVICES WITH PRECISION LANDSCAPE COMPANY OF PALM BEACH
COUNTY, INC. AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK
TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2017-70 on September 21, 2017, the
Village Council approved a Contract for Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Services with
Precision Landscape Company of Palm Beach County, Inc. ("Contract"); and
WHEREAS, the Village and Precision wish to amend the Contract to expand the scope to include
areas within the North Palm Beach Country Club through September 30, 2019, at a total cost of
$12,375.00; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the execution of the Amendment to the Contract
is in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, hereby approves an
Amendment to the Contract for Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Services with Precision
Landscape Company of Palm Beach County, Inc. to modify the scope to include additional services
through September 30, 2019. The cost of these additional services shall not exceed $12,375.00,
with funds expended from Account No. A7321-33491 (Public Works — Contractual Services).
The Village Council further authorizes the Mayor and Village Clerk to execute the Amendment,
a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, on behalf of the Village.
Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT FOR LANDSCAPING AND GROUNDS
MAINTENANCE SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT is made as of the o?7 day of ill ��� , 2019, by and between the
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the
laws of the State of Florida, hereinafter referred to as VILLAGE, and PRECISION LANDSCAPING
COMPANY OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, INC., a Florida corporation, hereinafter referred to as
the CONTRACTOR.
WHEREAS, the VILLAGE and CONTRACTOR executed a Contract for Landscaping and Grounds
Maintenance Services dated September 21, 2017 ("Contract"); and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Contract to include additional services at the North Palm Beach
County Club through the end of the contract term.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants herein contained, and
other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged,
the VILLAGE and CONTRACTOR agree as follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are ratified and incorporated herein.
2. Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional services listed in the Proposal
provided by CONTRACTOR, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The total
compensation paid by the VILLAGE for these additional services from June 24, 2019 through
September 30, 2019 shall be 312,375.00 ($4,125.00 per month with no charge for the last week in June).
3. All other provisions of the Contract, to the extent not expressly modified herein, shall remain
in full force and effect.
