Mayor Aubrey called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. All members of Council and staff were present.
All members of the Planning Commission were present, except Cory Cross, Kathryn DeWitt, and
Jonathan Haigh.
CODE REVISIONS
Mr. Lukasik reported on his discussions with Town of Lake Park officials regarding the Twin
City Mall site.
Bill Spikowski of Spikowski Planning and Associates presented these items for discussion:
Building height (in feet) - C -MU
Outdoor seating - C -MU & C-3
Nonconformities — C -MU, C-3, C -NB
Comprehensive Plan (text changes)
Camelot site — key redevelopment site
Twin City Mall site — C-3
Architectural design guidelines
Members of the Council and Planning Commission asked questions and expressed their views on
the proposed code changes.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Members of the public addressed the Council with suggestions and concerns.
COUNCIL CONSENSUS
It was determined that the June 6, 2019 Special Joint Workshop Session would not be necessary.
Mr. Spikowski will make the changes directed by Council and provide draft ordinances to be
placed on an upcoming agenda for Council action.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
