A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF TWENTY-EIGHT (28) DELL LAPTOP COMPUTERS FOR
USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT PURSUANT TO PRICING
ESTABLISHED BY STATE CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff is requesting the purchase of twenty-eight (28) new Dell Latitude 5420
laptop computers for use by the Police Department pursuant to pricing established by State of
Florida Contract No. 43211500-WSCA-I5-ACS ("Computer Equipment Peripherals and Services"),
last renewed on April 1, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
f Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of twenty-eight (28) Dell

Latitude 5420 laptop computers directly from Dell utilizing pricing established in State of Florida
Contract No. 43211500-WSCA-I5-ACS ("Computer Equipment Peripherals and Services").
The total amount expended for this purchase shall not exceed $49,590.24, with funds expended
from Account No. A5711-35111 (Police — Computer Supplies).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
