A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2017-18
TO INCREASE THE FUNDING FOR THE LEASE OF TWO TEMPORARY
BUILDINGS AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2017-18 on February 23, 2017, the
Village Council approved two lease agreements with New Acton Mobile Industries, LLC
(now William Scotsman) for two portable buildings to allow continued Country Club operations
during the construction of the new clubhouse at a total cost not to exceed $45,000; and
WHEREAS, once the initial term expired on October 1, 2018, the lease agreements continue on a
month to month basis until the Village notifies William Scotsman that the portable buildings are
ready to be picked up; and
WHEREAS, due to various delays in the Country Club clubhouse project, Village Staff is requesting
an additional $25,000 in funding to extend the lease of the buildings through September 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby amends Resolution No. 2017-18 to increase the total
amount of funding for the lease of two temporary buildings for the County Club Project by an
additional $25,000 (for a total of $70,000), with the additional funds expended from Account No.
K7600-66210 (County Club Clubhouse Project — Construction and Major Renovation).
Section 3. All remaining provisions of Resolution No. 2017-18, to the extent not expressly
modified herein, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
