1975-32 Urging the FL Legislature to Create a Five Member Public Service CommissionRESOLUTION N0. 32-75 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEAC}{ FLORIDA, URGING T}IE FLORIDA STATE LEGISLATURE TO PASS LEGISLATION CRF,ATING A FIVE-MEMBER PUBLIC SERVICE COP7h1ISSI0N. ' WHEREAS, the Village Council of North Palm Beach, Florida is deeply concerned about rising utility rates granted utilities who serve the Village of North Palm Beach by the Florida Public Service Corrunission, and WHEREAS, the Village Council believes that increasing the membership of the Public Service Commission can help in stemming the inordinately high rate increases currently being granted by that body; NOW, T}{EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PAIhI BEAC}{, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Florida State Legislature is requested to consider the passage of legislation currently pending before it which will. increase the membership of the Florida Public Service Commission to ' five persons. Section 2. The Village Clerk is directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to each member of the Palm Beach County Legislative Delegation. Section 3.
