25, 1975.
WIIEREAS, on the 25th day of March, 1975 a Runoff Election
was held in the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida for the purpose
of electing a Councilman to the Village Council for Group 4, and
appointed Inspectors and Clerks of said election:

WHEREAS, on March 25, 1975, said Inspectors and Clerks, after

taking and. subscribing their oaths in accordance with law, made their
returns to the Village Council, which returns certified that the following
is the result of said Runoff Election, to-wit:
Total Machine Votes: 1445
Total Absentee Votes: 21
For Village Councilman, Group 4
Betty W. French received 672 votes
V. A. Marks received 794 votes
and,
WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns
of said Runoff Election and. finds that the returns of the Inspectors
and Clerks of said election are true and correct tabulations of the
votes cast;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTII PALM BF,ACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the
following i.s the result of the Runoff Election of March 25, 1975:
For Village Councilman, Group 4
Betty W. French received 672 votes
V. A. Marks received 794 votes
Section 2. That the following candidate is hereby declared
to he elected. to the office of Village Councilman, Group 4.
V. A. MARKS
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 25 DAY OF MARCH, 1975.
