A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEAC}[,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MARC}[
18, 1975.
WI}EREAS, on the 18th day of March, 1975, a General Election
was held in the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida for the purpose
of electing Councilmen to the Village Council for Groups 2 and 4, and
WHEREAS, by due resolution the following named persons were
appointed inspectors and clerks of said election:
Faith Lutheran Church, Precincts 48 and 53:
Inspectors: Esther Bricker
Faye Lucas
Grete McBride
Marye Allen
Clerk:
and,
Elizabeth Redding
Council Chambers, Village Hall, Precinct 49:
Inspectors: Barbara Hill
Lillian Drudi
Linda Wilkins
Jean Noell

Jane Jenkins
Elks' Lodge No. 2069, Precincts 34, 50 and 52:
Inspectors: Ruth Brush
Pearl Doran
Mary Veckman
Martha Schultz
Barbara Nichols

W}}EREAS, on March 18, 1975 said inspectors and clerks, after
taking and. subscribing their oaths in accordance with law, made their
returns to the Village Council, which returns certified that the
following are the results of said General Election, to-wit:
Total Machine Votes 1536
Total Absentee Votes: 14
For Village Councilman, Group 2 (2-year term)
Walter N. Colbath, Jr. received 740 votes
Mervin H. McIntyre received 776 votes
For Village Councilman, Group ~E: (2-year term)
Michael D. Cirullo received 243 votes
Betty W. French received
V. A. Marks received
550 votes
738 votes
and,
W}IEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns
of said General Election and finds that the returns of the inspectors
and clerks of said election are true and correct tabulations of the
votes cast;
' NOW, T}iEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORT}[ PAI1~} BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the
following are the results of the General Election of March 18, 1975:
For VillaQe Councilman. Group 2:
Walter N. Colbath, Jr. received 740 votes
Mervin }[. McIntyre received 776 votes
For Village Councilman, Group 4:
Michael D. Cirullo received 243 votes
Betty W. French received 550 votes
V. A. Marks received. 738 votes
Section 2. That the following candidates are hereby declared
to be elected to the respective offices as follows:
VillaQe Councilman, Group 2:
MERVIN }i. MC INTYRE
VillaQe Councilman, Group 4:
No candidate received a majority of the votes. The two
candidates receiving the greatest number of votes were:
Betty W. French and V. A. Marks.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 19 DAY OF MARCH, 1975.
