FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH
20, 1973.
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of March, 1973 a General Election was
held in the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida for the purpose of
electing Councilmen to the Village Council for Groups 2 and 4, and
appointed inspectors and clerks of said election:

WHF,REAS, on March 20, 1973 said inspectors and clerks, after
taking and. subscribing their oaths in accordance with law, made their
returns to the Village Council, which returns certified that the follow-
i.ng are the results of said General Election, to-wit:
Total Machine Votes: 1,041
Total Absentee Votes: 15
Total Write-In Votes: 0
For Village Councilman, Group 2: (2-year term)
Walter N. Colbath, Jr, received 476 votes
Everett R. Miller, Jr, received 287 votes
Thomas B. Rhodes received 277 votes

For Village Councilman, Group 4: (2-year term)
Frank W, Carretta received 165 votes
Robert F. Slater received 581 votes
Pr. Stanley L. Weiss received 294 votes
and,
WI[EREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns

of said General Election and finds that the returns of the Inspectors
and Clerks of said election are true and correct tabulations of the votes
cast;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTII FAIM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the
following are the results of the General Election of March 20, 1973:
For Village Councilman, Group 2:
Walter N. Colbath, Jr, received 476 votes
Everett R. Miller, Jr. received 287 votes
Thomas B. Rhodes received 277 votes
For Village Councilman, Group 4:
Frank W, Carretta received 165 votes
Robert F. Slater received 581 votes
Dr. Stanley L. Weiss received 294 votes
Section 2. That the following candidates are hereby declared
to be elected to the respective offices as follows:
Village Councilman, Group 2:
' No candidate received a majority of the
votes. The two candidates receiving the
greatest number of votes were: Walter
N. Colbath, Jr, and Everett R, Miller, Jr.
Village Councilman, Group 4:
Robert F. Slater
