A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PAIM BEACH,
FLORIDA, REAFFIRMING TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PALM
BF,ACH COUNTY AND ALL OTHERS INVOLVED WITH SECURING OCEANFRONT LAND
,~ FOR PUBLIC BEACHES THAT THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH STRONGLY
SUPPORTS THE LOCATION OF A PUBLIC BEACH WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OY THE VILLAGE OF NORT}i PALM BEACH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PAIM BEAC}I,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby reaffirms its desire
that oceanfront lands lying within the municipal limits of the Village
of North Palm Beach be acquired for public beach purposes by Palm
Beach County, the State of Florida or other public bodies concerned.
Section 2, The Vila ge of North Palm Beach has determined
that any loss in tax revenue by virture of transferring private land
' to public ownership would be more than offset by the advantages to the
public of having ocean beaches for use by the public located within
the corporate limits of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is directed to submit copies
of this resolution to the Palm Beach County Commission and to any
boards and commissions created by it or by the State of Florida con-
corned with the acquisition of private lands for public beaches in
Palm Beach County.
