FLORIDA, AWARDING HONORARY MEMBERSHIPS AT THE VILLAGE OF NORT}{ PALM
B}:ACH COUNTRY CLUB.
WHEREAS, Jack Nicklaus and Gardner Dickinson are well-
known and highly respected golf professionals, and
W}{F,REAS, said Jack Nicklaus and Gardner Dickinson live
in the area of the Village of North Palm Beach and have participated
in activities at the North Palm Beach Country Club, and
WHERF,pS, Jack Nicklaus and Gardner Dickinson have honored
the Village of North Palm Beach Country Club by their interest in it
and their association with its activities and purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL

OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Jack Nicklaus and Gardner Dickinson are hereby
granted honorary memberships at the North Palm Beach Country Club
of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 2. As honorary members of the North Palm Beach
Country Club, Jack Nicklaus and Gardner Dickinson and their families
shall have all the rights and privileges which pertain to all other
members of the North Palm Beach Country Club.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to send

certified copies of this Resolution to Jack Nicklaus and Gardner
llickinson informing them of the special esteem and appreciation
which the Village of North Palm Beach has for these gentlemen as
golf professionals and as responsible citizens in the North Palm
Beach, Florida area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 11TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1971.
