A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FROM
TOSHIBA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, INC. TO LEASE TWELVE (12) MULTI-
FUNCTION COPIERS PURSUANT TO PRICING ESTABLISHED IN THE
STATE OF FLORIDA CONTRACT FOR MULTIFUNCTION PRODUCTS,
PRINTERS, FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT, SCANNERS, RELATED SOFTWARE,
SUPPLIES AND SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER
TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE LEASE
AGREEMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's lease agreements for photocopiers utilized by various Village departments
will expire on September 30, 3018; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration is recommending accepting a proposal from Toshiba
Business Solutions, Inc. to lease twelve (12) new multifunction copiers pursuant to pricing
established in the State of Florida Contract for Multifunction Products, Printers, Facsimile
Equipment, Scanners, Related Software, Supplies, and Services (Contract No. 600-000-11-1); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the acceptance of a proposal from Toshiba
Business Solutions, Inc. to provide twelve (12) multifunction copiers for use by various Village
Departments pursuant to pricing established in the State of Florida Contract for Multifunction
Products, Printers, Facsimile Equipment, Scanners, Related Software, Supplies, and Services
(Contract No. 600-000-11-1). The terms of the lease shall be thirty-six (36) months and the total
estimated cost (actual cost will vary based on usage) for Fiscal Year 2019 is $41,575.00 with
funds expended from the following operating accounts: Account No. A6019-33491 (Building);
Account No. L8046-33491 (Country Club); Account No. A6018-33491 (Public Works); Account No.
A8028-33491 (Recreation); Account No. A5711-33491 (Police); Account No. A5812-33491
(Fire); Account No. A5003-33491 (Finance); Account No. A4902-33491 (Village Manager);
Account No. A7927-33491 (Library); and Account No. A4904-33491 (Village Clerk).
Section 3. The Village Council further authorizes the Village Manager to talce all actions
necessary to effectuate the lease agreement.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect in
