RESOLUTION 2018-57
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPOINTING ONE NEW MEMBER TO THE
LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 2, Article I of the Village Code of Ordinances, the Village
Council may appoint residents of the Village as members of Village advisory boards to serve at the
pleasure of the Village Council, subject to the terms and conditions set forth therein; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to appoint one new member to serve on the Village
Library Advisory Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby appoints Brad Avakian, current first alternate, to the
vacant regular position on the Library Advisory Board with a term expiring on April 30, 2019.
The Village Council hereby appoints Tina Chippas, current second alternate, to the first alternate
position on the Library Advisory Board with a term expiring on April 30, 2019. Additionally,
the following person is hereby appointed to the Village Library Advisory Board for a term
expiring on the date indicated:

Section 2. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to send a conformed copy of this resolution
to the member appointed above.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
