A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2018-44
TO INCREASE THE BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER WITH PRECISION
LANDSCAPE COMPANY OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, INC. BY $25,000 TO
PROVIDE FOR THE REMOVAL OF TREES, THE PLANTING OF NEW
TREES AND THE TRIMMING OF EXISTING TREES ON THE VILLAGE
GOLF COURSE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Policies and Procedures authorize the use of blanket purchase
orders for materials purchased over a certain period of time not to exceed a single fiscal year, and
blanket purchase orders in excess of $10,000 require approval by the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, Village Staff is recommending amending Resolution No. 2018-44 to increase the
blanket purchase order issued to Precision Landscape Company of Palm Beach County, Inc. by
an additional $25,000 (for a total of $50,000) to provide for the removal of trees, the planting of
new trees, and the trimming of existing trees on the Village Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution, including the
waiver of any purchasing policies and procedures otherwise applicable to such purchases, is in
the best interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby amends Resolution No. 2018-44 to increase the amount
of the purchase order issued to Precision Landscape Company of Palm Beach County, Inc. by
$25,000 (for a total of $50,000) for the removal of trees, the planting of new trees, and the
trimming of existing trees on the Village Golf Course, with these additional funds expended
from Account No. L8045-35222 (Golf Course Maintenance — Trees & Sod).
Section 3. All portions of Resolution No. 2018-44, to the extent not expressly modified
herein, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4.
