A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE SOLE SOURCE
PURCHASE OF INVENTORY AND SCANNING SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
FROM TYLER TECHNOLOGIES FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO
EXECUTE ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommends the purchase of inventory and scanning software and
hardware from Tyler Technologies for use by the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, because Tyler Technologies provides and supports the Village's existing MUNIS
software, the purchase of the inventory module is a sole source purchase; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of inventory and scanning
software and hardware from Tyler Technologies for use by the Public Works Department at a
total cost of $39,023.00, with funds expended from Account No. A6018-35111 (Public Works —
Computer Supplies). The Village Council further authorizes the Village Manager to execute all
documents necessary to effectuate this purchase.
Section 3.
This Resolution shall take effect
