B. DECLARATION OF EX PARTE COMMUNICATIONS C. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND QUASI-JUDICIAL MATTERS 1. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2018-04 – CODE AMENDMENT – DOCKS AND PIERS Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance 2018-04 amending Chapter 5, “Boats, Docks and Waterways,” of the Village Code of Ordinances to expand mooring limitations, modify existing definitions, provide additional definitions, clarify regulations relating to the construction and location of docks and piers, modify the construction requirements for docks and piers in Lake Worth and the Atlantic Ocean and provide for floating vessel platforms as required by Florida Statute. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote. 1. RESOLUTION – FIREARMS PREEMPTION LAWSUIT Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution authorizing and directing intervention into a lawsuit seeking to declare provisions punishing elected officials for violating the state firearms preemption are invalid. ACTION 2. RESOLUTION – MUNIS INVENTORY MODULE PURCHASE Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving the purchase of inventory and scanning software and hardware from Tyler Technologies at a total cost of $39,023.00; and authorizing the Village Manager to execute the required documents.
