1968-343 Authorizing Purchasing Property Located on Prosperity Farms Rd in the Amount of $12,500 RESOLUTION N0. 3~E3-68 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYDR TO ENTER 17VT0 A CONTRACT FOR SALE AND PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON PROSPERITY E~~IS ROAD OWNED BY VELVA R. LEVONIA AND HUSBAND FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE OF $12,500.00, TERMS OF $1,000.00 DOWN, BALANCE ON CLOSING ON OR BEFORE JULY 1, 1968, ACCORDING TO DEPOSIT RECEIPT AND CONTRACT FOR SALE AND PURCHASE ATTACHED TO THIS RESOLUTION. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: • Section 1. The Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to sign that certain Deposit Receipt: and Contract for Sale and Purchase, copy of which is a.tta.ched hereto, marked Exhibit 1 and by reference made a part hereof, agreeing in behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach that the Village shall purchase from Velva. R. Levonia and husband Lot 1 of FISHERMAN'S VILLAGE, First Addition, Plat Book 28, Page 69, it being property located on Prosperity Farms Road, Palm Beach County, Florida, for the purchase price of $12,500.00. _ Section 2. The Villa.ge~ Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to pay the sum of $1,000.00 as a down payment on said property, to be credited against the total purchase price, making said, sum payable to the Sellers, subject to the con- ditions of the contract shown a.s Exhibit 1 to this Resolution.
