A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
COMMENDING MAJOR JOHN QUINTON ADAMS FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH
' WHEREAS, MAJOR JOHN QUINTON ADAMS, Infantry, U. S. Army, ha.s diligently
served as Senior Advisor to the United States Reserve Units in Palm Beach County,
Florida, and
WHEREAS, in the discharge of his functions as Survivors' Assistance
Officer, Major Adams has devoted much time above and beyond the call of duty
to assist persons bereaved by the death of loved ones in the service of our
country, and _
WHEREAS, through his ceaseless efforts to the Village of North Palm
Beach he greatly assisted in making the dedication of Lt. RonaSd Osborne
Park become a. reality, arid-
WHEREAS, Major Adams has done much through his speaking engagements
to enlighten our citizens to a. better understanding of the role of our Armed
' Forces in Southeast Asia, and
WHEREAS, Major Adams' outstanding guidance has been of exceptional
assistance to various civic projects of our community,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Village of North Palm Beach hereby unanimously
commends MAJOR JOHN QUINTON ADAMS for his outstanding and unselfish service to
this. community.
Section 2. That a. copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded by the __
Village Clerk to Major Adams and to the Commanding Officer of the Florida. __
