A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A
POLICE OUTFITTING PACKAGE FOR A 2018 MARKED FORD POLICE
INTERCEPTOR SEDAN FROM DANA SAFETY SUPPLY UTILIZING
PRICING ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING CONTRACT WITH THE CITY
OF TAMPA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended the purchase of a police outfitting package for a 2018
marked Ford Interceptor sedan from Dana Safety Supply pursuant to an existing City of Tampa
Contract, Spec No. 2-18 (Lightbars and Accessories with installation); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of a police outfitting package
for a 2018 marked Ford Interceptor sedan from Dana Safety Supply pursuant to an existing City
of Tampa Contract, Spec No. 2-18 (Lightbars and Accessories with installation). The total
amount expended for this purchase shall not exceed $12,917.49, with funds expended from
Account No. A5711-66410 (Police — Automotive).
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
