A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE
ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT PREPARED BY THE VILLAGE AUDITOR
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2017 AND AUTHORIZING
ITS FILING WITH THE STATE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, as required by Chapter 218, Florida Statutes, the Village Council selected the firm
of Nowlen, Holt & Miner, P.A. ("Auditor") to prepare a comprehensive annual financial report,
including an audit report, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to accept the annual financial report and authorize its
filing with the State as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and correct and are incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and Village Cleric to accept the
comprehensive annual financial report prepared by the Auditor for the fiscal year ending
September 30, 2017 and to file said report with the state as required by law.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
