A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE,
DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF SOD AT ANCHORAGE PARK FROM
ODUMS SOD, INC. PURSUANT TO AN -EXISTING SOUTHEAST FLORIDA
GOVERNMENTAL PURCHASING COOPERATIVE GROUP CONTRACT
FOR SOD AND SOD INSTALLATION ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND AUTHORIZING VILLAGE ADMINISTRATION
TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE PURCHASE;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village is a member of the Southeast Florida Governmental Purchasing
Cooperative Group ("Cooperative"); and
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach executed a contract on behalf of the Cooperative for sod
and sod installation (Bid No. 066-2730-16/JMA) ("Cooperative Contract"); and
WHEREAS, Village Administration is recommending approval of the purchase, delivery and
installation of St. Augustine Floratam sod at the Anchorage Park front field from Odums Sod, Inc.
pursuant to the terms and pricing established in the Cooperative Contract at total cost of
$18,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing "whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase, delivery and installation of sod
for Anchorage Park from Odums Sod, Inc. pursuant to the terms and pricing established by the
Southeast Florida Governmental Purchasing Cooperative Group Contract administered by the
City of Boynton Beach at a total cost of $18,000.00, with funds expended from Account No.
A7321-35222 (Public Works — Trees and Sod). The Village Council further authorizes Village
Administration to take all actions necessary to effectuate this purchase.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
