1965-235 Appointing Certain Officers for Village
RESOLUTION N0. 235-65
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY
FLORIDA, APPOINTING CERTAIN OFFICERS FOR SUCH VILLAGE.

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM EACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1, Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8 through 11, Article III, o£ Chapter
31481, Laws of Florida, Extraordinary Session 1956, the same being the Charter for the said
Village, the following persons be and the same are hereby named to the following offices of such
Village:
THOMAS F. LEWIS MAYOR
THOMAS R. BELL VICE-MAYOR
GORDON G. DUNCAN TAX ASSESSOR
ALLAN V. EVERARII TAX COLLECTOR

FRANK R. SPENCE VILLAGE CLERK (WHO SHALL
ALSO BE THE REGISTRATION
OFFICER OF SUCH VILLAGE)
ALBERT G, DUDDEN DEPUTY VILLAGE CLERK
BEULAH L, SAMPLES DEPIITY VILLAGE CLERK
Section 2. The above named officers shall take and subscribe an oath before an officer
duly qualified to administer oaths that they will faithfully and impartially execute their duties
of their offices according to the best o£ their ability and understanding, which said oath will
then be filed with the Village Clerkaand spread upon the minutes of the Village Council.
Section 3. The above named Mayor and Vice-Mayor shall hold office until their respective
offices until their successors shall be appointed and shall qualify and during the pleasure of
the Village Council.
Section 4. None of the above named officers shall receive any pay or emolument of any
kind except as provided by resolution of the Village Council.
