1965-232 Release of Certain Lands Within the Village• RESOLUTION N0. 2 2-6 ' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL, NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SEEKING THE RELEASE OF CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, LYING ON THE SST SHORE OF LAKE WORTH, FROM THE FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT AND FROM TRUSTEES OF THE INTERNAL IASrPROVEMENT FUND, FOR USE AS A VILLAGE RECREATION FACILITY. ~ * ~ ~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNC"IL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, Section 1. Directors of the FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT and Trustees of the INTERNAL IMPROVEMENT FUND, are hereby requested to release the following described area from its present designation as a "spoil areal' to the VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, to-wit: A parcel of land lying in the Northwest corner of the Florida Inland Navigation District's Maintenance Spoil Area LW-2, as described in Deed Book 653, Page 408, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida, being a portion of the land marked "not included" on the plat of Yacht Club Addition to Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, as recorded in P1at~Book 26, Page 249, 250 and 251, Public Reoords of Palm Beach County, Florida, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of MSA LW-2 as indicated on the said Florida Inland Navigation District's Maps of Maintenance Spoil Areas in Palm Beach County, Florida; thence southerly along the west line of said maintenance spoil area, a distance of 1039.61 feet to a point; thence southeasterly, a dis- tanee of 169.83 feet along a line, said line making an angle of 110°-55'-09" with the preceding course, to a point, said point lying on the bulkhead line of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida; thence northerly along said bulkhead line a distance of 1166,66 feet, said bulkhead line making an angle of 78°-55'-00" with the preceding course to a point; thence westerly, a distance of 349.39 feet along a line, siad line making an angle of 80°-09'-51" with the preceding course, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, Section 2. The release sought is to permit the VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH to utilize that area for park purposes and recreation Facilities for the residents and taxpayers of the VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, over an area which has been deeded to the VILLAGE OF NORTH" PALM BEACH for such use, subject to the spoil area. Section 3. The Village Manager is hereby authorized to take whatever steps are neces- sary and to use the services o£ whatever Town officials and employees are necessary to secure the release of said land, both from FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT and from the Trustees of the INTERNAL IMPROVEMENT FUND, Section 4. All Ordinances or Resolutions, or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. PASSED AND ADOPTED this nth day of March. 1965. (SEAL) Mayor ATTEST: Village Clerk
