A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH THE
GENERAL INTENTIONS OF THE COUNCIL IN ENACTING ORDINANCE N0, 91, WHICH CREATED A BOARD OF
GOVERNORS FOR THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB.

WHEREAS, the Village Council has by Ordinance No. 91 created a Board of Governors for
the North Palm Beach Country Club and has set forth the powers, duties, and functions o£ the
Board of Governors in said Ordinance No. 91, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council desires to acquaint the members of the Board o£ Governors
• appointed by said Ordinance o£ the intent and purpose of said Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ZT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1, In creating a Board of Governors for the North Palm Beach Country Club
and setting forth its powers, duties, and Functions in Ordinance No. 91, it was the intention
and policy of the Village Council that the Board o£ Governors should operate the North Palm
Beach Country Club as nearly as possible and in such a manner as to relieve the taxpayers o£
the Village of North Palm Beach from any undue financial burden or hardship but, wherever
' possible, the facilities of the North Palm Beach Country Club should be kept available to
as many residents as is Feasible as a community recreation facility.
