RESOLUTION # 179
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPOINTING A VILLAGE CLERK FOR SUCH VILLAGE.

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8 through 11, Article
III of Chapter 31481, Laws of Florida, Extra-ordinary Session 1956, the same
being the Charter for said Village, FRANK R. SPENCE Be and he is hereby appointed
and designated as Village Clerk (who shall also be the Registration Officer of
such Village) in and for the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida; and he is
hereby vested and delegated all of the pawers and duties incident to said offices,
effective as of November 1, 1963,
Section 2. The above named officer shall take and subscribe an oath
before an officer duly qualified to administer oaths that he will impartially
and faithfully execute the duties of his offices according to the best of his
ability and understanding, which oath will then be filed with the Village Clerk
and spread on the minutes of the Village Council.
Section 3. The above named Village Clerk shall hold office until his
successor shall be appointed and shall qualify, and during the pleasure of the
Village Council.
Section 4, The above named officer shall receive no pay or emolument
of any kind except as provided by resolution of the Village Council.
